Got a later start than I really wanted to didn't get to Warsaw until almost 9 am. I talked Paula into setting the boat up to Spider rig for our very first time of doing it. We only had 4, 12 foot poles so we each took 2 and added the extra seat up at the front of the boat. Kind of a new experience for the both of us because we have never used crank baits. Lets just say that even with only 2 rods each it was something of an experience for us.

If it could go wrong it did! Now I remember why I don't like bait caster reels especially small ones. Learned never to use a net with a crank bait. I learned I am not very good with a trolling motor. Worked in front of the dam in 20 to 25 fow. Also worked the west side of the dam and in front of the buoys to the swim beach.

Ended up with a couple of good ones! One on the left is 3.10 pounds and the one on the right was 2.10 pounds. They sure was the largest I have ever caught.

Good day to be on the water!

After we go done we went down below the dam to look at the water. No water was coming out except what little they were running for power generation.

Got fish on pink, purple, bull frog. Did realize the amount of work that people put into spider rigging!
