Default No fish were harmed LOZ.

baithead and I ran up to PB1 hoping to find a few. 1 9.5" crappie was the only keeper caught. Did catch a few shorts lots of non target species. Great afternoon out but no pics of fish. Oh well next time is coming soon. Plenty of water to launch now.

The game changed at LOZ. I spent last Friday afternoon fishing midlake. Caught no crappie shallower than 5 feet of water. The vast majority of the fish I caught were in 8-12 feet of water from the middle of the dock to the end. Shade line was a key and any brush made a given spot better. Lots of little fish. Did manage to sort through enough to get a limit of 10s or better. Never cleaned a spawned out female.

Had to look at this twice Richard! Wishful thinking I suppose but woulda thought a 19.5" keeper would have made it a good day!

I fished Friday thru Sunday mid cove around the 10mm and caught spawning fish in 11 to 13 fow, some of the females had dropped there eggs, several males with black bellies.

Friday was the best day, limit of large fish, Sat. was slow 8 fish, and Sun. I caught 10 fish but all were 9 to 10".

I thought it wqs a 19.5 keeper too, one big samich side for sure, anyway, bad days help us appreciate the good days a little more.
