Default CDC ers to the Rescue at Smithville

Had an hour or two to get out today so took my son. Ran out of gas, both tanks? Yea I'm a brain surgeon! I switched to the second tank at camp and figured I had plenty for a quick trip today, WRONG! I must have switched unknowingly just as the first tank went dry because when I switched back Nothing! Need to find a way to blame this on Joedog!

Anyway Dave and Joyce brought me 5 gallons bank side delivery and off we go.......well for a little. My boat would not stay primed not sure why. Would run for a bit then done. Pumped until my arm fell off but no go no more.

Ring Ring Dave and Joyce to the rescue again. Trolled to the W boat ramp with a short tow from Trevor and the wonderful people took me to retrieve my truck and trailer from another boat ramp.

Thanks for all the Help! CDC people are Great!

Did manage a few but gave two nice ones to Trevor. My sons best at 13.5 and he summed it up the best when he said it could have been worse!

Not much of a report but people we were close to were catching more on minnows a few feet from the banks, Camp Branch and Main lake pretty clear and North of W Muddy. Water temp 66.8 to 69.9.

I was just putting in when they towed you to the ramp. Hope it is an easy fix. I am in a older gray Cajun. I kept 8 nice ones. All males with biggest 12.5"

Hey, i have a fishing partner that has the same problem with running out of gas. I may need to carry a one gallon jug with me instead of my tackle bag.

I hate seeing anyone broke down on the water. You are definitely not the first person I've towed in.
