Thread: NEVER NERVOUS PURVIS 04-13-2015

Wasn't gonna go down until tomorrow but I got the itch so bad I took off early last night slept four hours and headed down. Limited out in a little over an hour and they were thumping it pretty good. Fished shallow brush and the side of docks with a Southern Pro blue flake and yellow tube which has been good for me in stained water. Really helped if I bumped the brush and weedless jig heads/ braided line were defiantly a plus. Caught several nice fish and the females had loose eggs. I did not find any fish on the bank, water temp was 56 to 57. Staying down at Purvis for 5 days coming up looks like the spawn is setting up just right, hopefully. Ameren can raise the water anytime now. I call it never nervous Purvis b/c in the spring I'm never nervous about fishing Purvis b/c the bite is usually hot. Of course Never Nervous Pervis Ellison was a standout for the University of Louisville basketball team under Denny Crum and was the 1st overall pick in the 1989 draft but had an injury plagued NBA career. There you go...I just gave you a fishing report and some useless information unless your on Jeopardy and NBA history is a category. And if you see that date stamp, I did not go back in time and catch those fish.
