You should have called the sheriff, especially if he threated you!
Gentlemen, needing some takes on what you all think. Got treated real bad on lake of the ozarks today. I have been around awhile dock fishing Loz since I was real young and never been treated like this. Pulled up to a dock and started fishing some beds my dad and I had set years ago Guy yells from deck "what the ..... u doing ...... I looked up to see what was disrupting a very peaceful afternoon. He come runnin down in his sweatpants half crazed and threatening to run us off. We calmly casted a couple more times but then turned to move off but he decided to threaten to do more than beat our ...... Really felt like he was attempting to threaten our lives. I have never seen someone act so ridiculous to defend water they did not own. Please keep in mind we were 10' off the dock at the time. I would have been more than willing to move to my next bed if he would have asked me to move out of the area without cussin at me. How he acted was ridiculous to come out and threaten someone for fishin round their dock. Anyway the dock is ........
Please feel free to give the beds a whirl. Got one on left and one on right of dock. Their old but have been productive. Be ready to be cussed at by someone who thinks they own the lake! I was embarrassed for the guy. Seemed like an unhappy fella. Hoping you all .... thinkin of u ks fisherman too. Know these are ur haunts!
First time in 15 years ever been ran off and yelled at. Sure ruins a good fishing trip.

I feel for you.....
Wow. I've ran into some bad apples at the lake, but never that bad.
Here fishy, fishy, fishy...
Sorry to here..
Some people think they own the water.
Ouch, makes for a bad situation.....
I've been fishing the LOZ since I was five and most of the people down there are very nice, but there are some real ...... like the one you all ran into. In Missouri Peace Disturbance is defined as: offensive and indecent language addressed in a face-to-face manner to a specific individual and uttered under circumstances which is likely to produce an immediate violent response from a reasonable recipient or threatening to commit a (crime) felonious act against any person under circumstances which are likely to cause a reasonable person to fear that such a threat may be carried out. Someone needs to fish around his dock and wear a go pro camera, although you never know what some of these crazies will do.

Should of thrown out a couple markers over his brush and left them there.
I've have fished that Dock a many of times. I haven't had the experience you just had. But that maybe I can make it happen. I have a fellow on big inland that's is just like him. He comes out every time I fish his dock. The first time was wonderful experience. I had five 20 year old girls with me And this fellow came out yelling and screaming at us. I was like look man you don't own the water and I know there lots of fish under your dock and as long as we don't touch your dock I'm legal.
Just remember that he was wrong and you were right. You seem to of acted respectfully and moved on. He will not always be down there. So keep fishing that spot as normal. If he does that again you need to call law enforcement. They will explain to the owner of that dock is has no right to stand on.
