    Default SLABSCAB-LSLANGLER LOZ ADVENTURE

Met up with Kyle at the Shawnee Bend boat ramp Sunday morning. We did the run and gun Roger's style fishing all day. First we ran up towards the highway 54 bridge and hit several docks up that way which only produced a couple of crappie. We worked are way back all the way to the Gravois arm. If you were out there fishing and seen a red and silver champion boat flying around, that was us. No real pattern for us. We started out hitting windy point docks and worked our way back into the coves. We were dock shooting and the larger crappie caught hit the bait once it hit the water. We did hit a lot of docks that usually produce and nothing was biting. I started out using silver/chartreuse while Kyle was using chartreuse/blue but by the end of the day we were both using blue ice but Kyle was using an orange jig head. Fishing was alot tougher than we are used to and blamed it on the blue skies. It was a little windy but couldn't beat the warm weather. Had a great time and can't wait to get back down there. Here are a couple of pictures and Kyle may put his on later. Kyle forgot a bucket so he had to put them on his wife's car floor mat so that car will be smelling good today. Second picture was the fish I had to clean in the dark when I got home around 8pm.Name: DSCN1250.jpg

Way to go LSL! Sound like we all had fun and productive weekend. Me SeeJimFish hit up Linn creek Sunday morning and they weren't haven't it. So I told Jim hey back to my neck of the woods. And that's when things got better for us.
