    Default Trouble finding lure

Sunday's hot lure was a Rapala jointed minnow in black/gold. It has NO lip on it. Have had it for a LONG time. Now want to get more and having trouble finding them. Checked Bass Pro, Cabelas and WLmart web sites. They aren't showing any without a lip on it. They had one at WM but it was black/silver. Need black/gold with out lip.

I would try their web site a see if they make it any more.
    Or try eBay
We came across a bandit lure pattern that was out catching the rest by a lot and found it was no longer made but they were on close out on their site we bought 12 before they were gone

Just paint them even with a hand brush...

I do it all the time.. Easy for me to say though, I do taxidermy too.
I use the airbrush for looking pretty but the fish don't care if you hand paint them.
Than clear them by hand with Devcon clear two part epoxy.
You can find that a Lowes.

Here's one I did on homemade musky lure

Finding one without the lip,is the problem. Checked Rapala web site and nothing on it. Maybe they don't make them anymore.

Buy one with the lip and remove it, whip out your Dremel and cut it down flush with the body. Play with it in the bathtub to see how it does.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

    E-bay
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Looking through my BPS master catalog and I think I may found close to what you are looking for. If you have the 2014 master catalog, page 205 has Rapala lures. They have the jointed minnow in 12 colors and 5 different sizes/diving depths. The sample lure in the picture could definitely be modified like peculiarmike said. Let us know if that's it.
