Worked a day shift tues. so I swung by on the way to work.
River was locked up tight, but about 2 feet of open water by the pillars under the bridge at the lake.
Thought what the heck and gave it a shot for a few minutes.
    Caught em on every cast.
Problem was,I had a double jig rig,one of the jigs would catch on the lip of ice every time.Had to heave large rocks to break free and release the fish.
Didn't seem to bother them...fished about 10 minutes til I lost my jigs to the ice.

Stopped on the way home and it was now a 40x40 yard area open,4 keepers and 40 dinks in an hour.Wind was howling!!
