    Default Fat fish ?

Last summer I caught a drum in the Osage River that was crazy fat. It actually had clumps of fat along the rib cage and the rest of the body was really thick. Well it happened again Sunday in the same area. It weighed around 5 lbs. and was really chunky. It was shorter than the 1 husband got but was much er heavier. It was almost twice as thick and when cleaned it had rows of fat along the inside of the ribs. I am assuming the Osage has the zebra mussels in it and they are pigging out on them. Something is sure making some of the drum FAT. I know we caught 1 a few years ago and it pooped out mussel shells in the boat. Have never saw fish get fat like these two drum. Anybody have any ideas on why they are getting that fat besides zebra mussels?

I don't know but if they are eating #%^)(: Zebra mussels I think we should start stocking more drum in the waters.
