Not even a flake near smithville, starting about 20 miles further east and south, got hammered.Seeing reports of up to 18 inches.
We probably got about 5 or 6 inches with about 2 or 3 ice. I've been watching it come about all night. I was watching the radar on the computer and when it looked like it was about over we had a white out thats been going on for about 3 hrs. I might have fun getting home, guess thats why us country boys have 4wds.

We got hamered. There is about two and a half feet piled up against my garage doors. Can't even get out. They are telling everyone to stay in unless an absolute emergency. Ambulances can't get out of their garage and I-70 is closed.
I guess I will re-watch all my crappie videos, make crappie beds and re-line all my reels today.

Bugs is on the phone, has been since 4:30 a.m.The latest is slab buster Jack so you know he is learning alot.Anyway we have about the same as you all. Most of the roads Hwy 42 has been said to be closed. Lucky for me that is the road I take to work, It's only about 1 mile to work but any reason to stay home and drive Bugs nuts is a good one. He's had me up since 3 a.m. so he gonna pay today.Originally Posted by osagemo

Can he survive me and Drew being snowed in at home with him all day? We shall see, he may put that 4 wheel drive to use. Drew is allready out in the snow playing. Crazy kid, takes after his Dad.
