Hey Bait Eating ... do you run into any of those jumping carp when you're on the river? I hear they're getting pretty bad. I fish Reelfoot once a year and I hear they're in there now, too -- although I've never seen them. Just curious...
I went back to south east Mo. last week and was fishing on the Mississippi river the shoots I was trying to was high and not muddy but very stained. I got a few nice 11 and 12in crappie like 5 or 6 a day. I fish FRI SAT very slow. So today I got to go to Pomme it was 71 degrees when I put in 11am and 42 and very windy at 3:30 pm when I pulled the boat out. I boated 9 crappie only 6 keeper. But it is better then working.
