Size: 77.8 KBwell first time with a 10' rod lost quite a few at the boat but my son and I still managed 23 nice ones. All caught on wood mostly hedge in 6' -12' of water. I have to say a big thank you to Kevin Rogers and his BPS seminar, it really helped the learning curve for me the first time out. Used a Sam Heaton rod but would like to see the Tod Huckabee rod.

Looks like a good day. That is a pretty good mess of fish for first time with a long rod. You will be addicted to the "Thump" now. Kind of a light bite today for me but in the heat of summer they will really hit the jig hard. That is when it is fun. Nothing better than having a big slab hit it hard enough to think you are losing your rod. You will have to watch what you say because you might give Kevin "JiggingTournaments" a big head. Kevin is great at sharing what he has learned over the years. I think many of us have learned a few things from Kevin. He has taught me what 2nd place is on several occasions. No one out there that try's harder to promote the sport of crappie fishing than Kevin. Congrats on a great day on the water.
