Thread: Rain Rain Go Away Smithville Last Night

Left the house sun was out, got to the ramp and downpour so had to wait the storm out. Went up to Bass/Crappie fish and did catch two bass; short. The crappie I did catch were VERY NICE, nothing under 11 inches and one 13. First Crappie I pulled in the boat flopped off hit the deck and bounced back into the lake. Caught three nice ones and then decided it might be worth keeping them and then only managed three more. Gave them away at the ramp to a very appreciative bank fisherman who even said WOW when I pulled them from my livewell. Off the banks slow reeling a roadrunner in about 6 FOW water temp 78.5.

I figured out how to not get out fished by the kids….Don’t take them!

I’ve heard of single pole tournaments do they have single contestant tournaments? I would have a chance at winning!

Nice fish! I've been caught in two storms in the past week. Finally got the brushman away from his work only to get dumped on Wednesday. Joe saved our buts Saturday with an air conditioned van at Arnold.
