    Default Another Fun Twain Camp

My family and I had a great time camping and fishing this weekend with my CDC friends! A little chilly but sunny and not too windy. great weather for sitting around a campfire B.S.ing the night away... the fishing wasn't too bad, we caught enough to keep us happy and managed to eek out a couple limits. it was great seeing everyone and I can't wait for the next time!
sure wish I had taken some more pics of the weekend, but this is all I have.

Hey guys we had a great time also. Was nice visiting with everyone again. Got to fish with nemofisher and fishroper one day and had a good time and caught a few fish but the bite was pretty slow. Got to see Rob and hid dad Jeff on Thursday and they gave us a little info on the fish which Linda and I really appreciated. Andrew caught a few fish right off and then the bite slowed and so did his enthusiasm after that. Richard we really had a good visiting with your group (measure em, baithead, and Mike). Was glad to get the chance to fish with measure em and we caught some fish and had a good time just bsing. I really appreciate the bead counters and the oil Richard and I'm sure nemo and roper will like the bead counters also. I think Greg and his wife Jen, and daughter Kat beat us all on the fishing but we all caught fish and had a good time. Ready for the next camp.

    Catman,

Glad we got to see you and Linda and too bad you got ran off by that little hail! Never know what's gonna happen in Missouri, do ya.........

A few pictures from our week. Outside of the weather being a bit sketchy, really couldn't have asked for better timing. Caught fish everywhere from 12' deep on the channels and timber to 12" deep under a cork. Seems like the better fish were hanging together. We did put 5 different fish in the boat that were over 14" with big fish being a shade under 16" and weighed 1.7. Chock full of eggs and they all went back in the water to finish their job.

A few random pictures as I wasn't on top of things with my cell phone:

All in all, a fantastic week with good friends (old and new)......... only wish I could have stuck it out with you guys but if I missed my Sister's graduation from Medical School I'da been in some trouble!

    Getting close to crankbait time!

Had a real good time. Learned a little more, catman is a really patient teacher.. I think ripnlips and I will get the spider rigging thing down sooner or later. The method did catch some fish. Although I did not catch any non-targeted species, I know some who did. It was nice to visit and see you all again. Waiting for the next time.

some great pics, Robbie! I was wondering if there still might be some morels in the woods up there, guess I should have went for a walk afterall. nice flattie, too. that guy would sure stretch a line out!
wish we could had a beer and a laugh but there's always next time! they say the third time is a charm and next camp is round 3 so it stands to reason that the next time we do this the stars are gonna line up just right and everyone is gonna make it to camp safely. and fish will bite and the lake won't rise and the weather will be just warm enough that we might see a bikini or 2!
Oh Rob, thanks again for pre-fishing for us! I owe ya another one!
