Bite still on this evening at Smithville
Another great outing! Put in at W bridge at 5pm. Went north of wildlife area and had limit before sundown. Big fish was 12 3/4" but most around 10". Casting to bank with some hitting as soon as jigs hit water. Others hit as jigs drifted deeper. Sometimes would catch on every cast. Other boats catching too. Heading back north early in the morning if I don't wimp out from being too cold. If you come a cross a recycled Cajun with Yamaha motor stop and say hi!

Thats great! Good to know they still there. Wish i can say the same. The bank was slooow! Fished from 8-midnight. Managed 7 keepers.

I did pretty good yesterday too. I was using a Adjust a bubble with a roadrunner below it. Electric Chicken slab buster got some......but it was the 1" Gulp minnow that really did the heavy lifting.
