    Default Any recent Mozingo reports?


    Anyone been to Mozingo recently? I used to fish it fairly often but have not been up there in over a year. This used to be about prime spawn time there but with this year's crazy weather I was wondering if it was on there yet.

    Crappie were really on the banks around the time it really warmed up last week...may6-10th was really fantastic...there are quite a few throwbacks this year, but you can still catch some really good ones...water temps in the mornings on the main part of the lake were hovering in the high 50s low 60s, but up in the coves you could find 66-68 degrees...at the same time, many guys were catching fish out over deep brush too....
