Thread: Purvis????

Has anyone fished Purvis recently, thinking about going tomorrow would like any reports. Thanks in advance :-)

Fished all last week not real productive. Best luck after 7pm. Last Tuesday and Wednesday night did real good on the banks between 8:30 and 9:30 pm. Seemed hot pink jig worked best. Still caught most of our fish in 15' of water about 6-8' down. This week has to be better, last week the weather was cold,windy and wet. Water temp was 65 when I left yesterday. Water was pretty clear as well. Didn't catch but one here and there on the bank mainly females a little deeper. Not sure they have spawned there yet I am not catching them where they usually are during or shortly after the spawn. If you can't find them on the bank go to the bluff and fish the fall downs and where the washouts are. Good luck
