Question Table Rock Lake for the first time

Hi I was wondering if anyone has any info on how the fishing is or will be on Table Rock Lake? My wife set up a mini vac for us in Branson Mo for 4days from the 1st of May to the 4th of May so I thought I would bring my boat with us and try some fishing, never been to Table Rock Lake or been on it before any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim

I have never fished crappie on the rock but I have been on several mini vac there as well that time of year..take some bass rods with you they should be on beds by then and with the lack of high water it should be a great sight fishing year...that much fun shouldn't be legal..

in two weeks it would be hard to say its going strong on the james arm around cape fair and bridgeport lots of nice limits being caught and i got on em pretty good last wednesday myself. i think the kings started out a little slower this year i'm on another site that focuses on table rock so if i hear anything i'll pm you. Beagleman i would think would be the one to steer you in the right direction he knows the crappie fishing on the rock better than any one i know.Treeline is right Take The Bass Rods!!!!!

If you like to trout fish, taneycomo can be pretty good that time of year. There is a public boat ramp about 1/2 a mile up river from bass pro shop. Good luck!

Well even if you don't get into the fish at Tablerock, you will enjoy the scenery. Really a beautiful lake. Tanecomo can be a pretty relaxing time, too. Just run upstream and let the current drift you down....the only work is reeling in the trout. Have fun!
