    Looking to have 2 big crappie mounted. Who's the best out there ?

    Best I have seen is Craig jones in Independence. I went with him after asking the same question a few months ago on here. These pics do this mount no justice. Once I bring it back home I will get some better pics.

    I use a 6.9 foot medium action ozark rod and a reel with a good size spool. Stay about 15 ft from the dock. You want the longer rod for futher distance and the stiffness to get that fish out of there. Dont use anything less then 8 pound test because of your line rubbing on all that metal. I use green vicious line. Ive shot docks for three years and i can hit just about any crack. Stay back from them docks so you dont spook the fish. Also shoot up beside them wave runner slips. Basically find the darkest hole on ths dock and put a jig in there. Its frustrating at first but once you get the hang of it and thats all you will do. If you wanna practice ,take a coffe can , shut your garage on it and stand back 20 ft and hit that can.

    What size jig are you shooting?? 16th??? What size spinning reel are matching up on the Ozark rod?
