Too bad boats and fishing licenses don't come with a good dose of common sense, and maybe even some courtesy. We've all seen the guy with 6 people pull down to a lane(or two) of the ramp, and then proceed to load the boat with PFD's, BBQ grill, rods, bait, coolers, etc. Takes an hour to get his boat off the trailer and then tie it up in the lane instead of moving it to the outside so someone else can launch. You can't fix stoopit, or inconsideration, or just plain rude. Shake your head and wait til he's gone

It's not just the spawn that brings out the crazies........we went to Bucksaw a couple of years ago and, I kid you not, there was a family (5 people I believe, I don't remember exactly) with inner tubes, styrofoam floatie things, swimming suites, and all the fixins for a picnic, using the boat launch area as a swimming hole. Not in the lake off to the side of the docks.....I mean right smack in the middle of the launch. When we backed the boat down they just moved (swam actually) to an open area and watched us unlaod the boat. Never even occurred to them that they were in a boat launch and not a swimming beach. Always regret not getting a picture of that......all you can do is shake your head. They were very friendly though, and I did mention that this is a boat launch area and not a swimmng hole.....last I saw as we drove off onto the water they were still splashing around.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish

lol What cracks me up are these guys that have their wife back the boat down the ramp that have a hard time backing out of a parking spot at Wal-Mart, at least when my wife is with me I back it down in the water and let her take over.

I think the worst of all are those bass tourney guys. The most inconsiderate
boats on the water. They go out and finance a 40,000 + dollar boat and
think they own the whole lake. Everyone knows what I am talking about.
Not all of them are that way. I do get a little chuckle when one flies by
about 50 mph and I hear a thunk. I fish around stick ups a lot. lol.

And please turn off your dang headlights while you are waiting to launch!!! Nothing worse than being blinded by some idiot while you are backing down the ramp.

One thing I hate about my 98 chevy. I can't shut off the lights unless I kill the motor. I think I could just crack a beer and watch sometimes it's quality entertainment. Spring doesn't bother me it's usually mid summer crowd I get frustrated with.
