I know Rodney (brushman) is the one that turned me on to Chapman Creek. Heard tell that he still pours, but you have to contact him. They had a store, then just a website, and now even that looks like it's going away? I guess they're good for tube jigs, and have some great colors, but I can't say they put any more fish in the boat than anything else. I'm not sure that jig style/color is my biggest obstacle to catching fish right now.

Slabbusters and mid south and a few home made from some of the guys on here, try them all , most of the jigs catch more fishermen than fish anyway.

And until I lose all of them I can't afford anything else. Seriously, I dig carrot fishing. Tore the heads off the bass on our local HOA lake with the red/char.

Monty was a welder for many years. I bet he has a portable welder with generator on it. Maybe that's what he kept hidden under the aluminum tread plate cab he use to have on the boat.
