    Default lake ozark 2/9/13

last nights low was a balmy 28 degrees and todays high was a blistering 28 degrees, so we work up early to fish a few docks with bubblers (since the whole damn lake is froze over) and try some dock dobbing. fished 2 sets of docks on each end of lake with deep water. results were 1 short after 3 hours. so on a whim we headed below bagnell dam on west side. fishing was slow till i tried a cork and set it 5 ft deep. then bingo game on. 27 good 10"+ keepers in 2 hours between the 2 of us. red/char and red/wht with a green crappie nibble. fished slack water no water coming through dam. sure was nice having fresh crappie for dinner. good luck guys

Good job getting them figured out! Don't get much better than fresh winter crappie.

I think fish always taste better coming out of the cold water. Especially catfish.
