    Heading down next tuesday-thursday. Should the ramps be open? where is a good place to stay..? Thanks!

    You can launch at Hermitage State Park - must stay in the dam area to fish though. This will continue to improve each day.

    That is the area we were thinking about. we went to NEMO (i think) last year and caught some near the ramp. there was another boat there spider rigging the area and they were catching several. We tried elsewhere -0- and they were taking out. They said in the winter the area around the dam was "better" but the wind was bad that day. Thanks..see any ducks? Last year was our first trip. I want to get the boat out and try my new batteries.

    We fished the dam area today,caught 1 crappie.Wind was terrible,fish not biting.Should have stayed home.

    Was there over the weekend and Hermitage ramp is open. Lake looked open except in the back of the coves. LakeView Lodge is open. Give Perry a call.

    Looks like the majority of the ramps are open, Pittsburg Landing was still iced in, haven't gotten as far as Bolivar Landing so do know about it yet.
