I was down in the 8mm today, didn't see a boat out at all. Probably be good with some salt or sand at the ramp.
The fishing was pretty good.... The bite was light, blue and white.

Did you fish around Alhonna Resort? That's where we stay when we go to LOZ. There is some good fishing in their cove ... both crappie and bass. The other day a guy caught a 45 lb. blue cat off one of their docks.

Yeah that looks cold, congrats. Don't need a livewell with a day like that.

Yeah sure as heck don't like putting my hands in a livewell this time of year. They looked good on a snow covered boat floor.

A tip of the cap to ya. I've chased quackers in that kind of weather, but never fished. Not sure if I really want to. (Unless someone comes along and twists my arm.)
