How about Reyes! Man what a game. I think he probably could have finished it even after the first pitch homer in the 9th. Rolen finally broke out. I really think Tony should have put Spezio in the DH spot but who am I. that way he would have both of his clutch pinch hitters in the line up. (So/Spezio) Duncan is good but I just don't think he's World Series good yet.

I'm glad I stayed home to watch it instead of fishing tonight. Had a cold front move thru anyway and the wind kicked up to 25 mph. great night for baseball.

man, my voice is all screwed up from yelling so much at the bar. i can't believe that game. Reyes made me eat my words and frustrations with him and i'm darn glad he did. scottie, not getting a hit last time we were here gets two and a home run in the first game, good for him. gotta love these redbirds.

Now Carpenter! Great time of year for the Cards pitching to shine.

Looks like a rain out tonight and maybe tomorrow. If that happens, Rogers could possibly pitch game 5. I don't think Leyland will put him on the mound in STL. The fans will get in his head too much.

One more time! thanks to David Eckstein! I guess they just have to bunt back to the pitcher for the rest of the series.
