Cool I was born there at the hospital in lawrence. My unlce took me a couple of times over to Lonestar Lake east of town. When I was younger we also use to fish the creek that comes out of clinton dam. On a low water bridge that was east of the hwy that runs south out of lawrence. Just out side of town.

For the guys names, some that I know that have been fishing CUSA for a while. Charlie Bunting, JR Irvin, Albert Melcher, Kelly Cruz, and Gene Stacey. Did you come down to LOZ for the fall tourne this year?

Didn't make the fall tourney. Charlie Bunting's name sounds very familar. That creek is the Wakrusa River. Very good walleye fishing there in the spring runs. Been to Lone Star many times. Very old lake and has some great bass fishing. Small world isn't it? <*)}}}><

Since you're going to be presenting seminars in Kansas City at the boat show next week you might seek some input from a 'name' stick in the area. One that comes to mind is Tim Martin. I believe he lives in the KC metro area - time permitting he may even share some time with you on stage. I don't have a number for him but I'm sure someone visiting the site knows him better than I and can pass the contact info to you. Good luck on your presentation.
