    Default Marabou on the Grand

Fished up around G-41 today and found that black/white and black/yellow and char. marabou jigs got great bites. Filtered through all the dinks and managed to bring home 15 nice eaters for supper. Wind made it tough on the water up that way.

I like to bust out the feather and hair jigs in the winter time also. Are you tying your own or using name brand jigs? If Wyatt has any interest I would be glad to have you two over to my tying room and help him tie some jigs. I think he would get a kick out of catching fish on some jigs he made himself. I caught about 40 fish two years ago in the same area you fished today with some of my hand tied jigs and a cane pole with 10' of line tied to it. I got some funny looks but like KCMOSlayer says get back to the basics. That is about as far back to the basics as you can get.
Thanks Ralo79 thanked you for this post
