    Default Pushin Cranks at Wapp

Wasn't too productive. Started out early above Swirl Hole pushing 4 poles with Bandits and pulling 2 more on long lines. Trolled to Pizo Point. Caught one good keeper.
Got out of the channel while messing with that fish and one of my other down rods got hung on a stump. I lost a Bandit and a "Scott V" pushing rig.
Trolled a little further and one of my long line poles doubled over. I thought it was hung. I was kinda right. The line wrapped itself around the prop on my big motor.. Turns out, this new motor is quiet a bit longer than my last motor. Couldn't reach the prop from inside the boat. Pulled in the rest of my poles and headed for a secluded cove with the trolling motor. Got back where no boats were around and put on my birthday suit and jumped in. Got the line unwound from around the prop. Note to self, get a boarding ladder for the back of the boat. Got back in the boat and put my clothes back on. Decided no more long lining today. Figured I will just push cranks. Ran up the river past Otter Creek. I always catch fish there........................except for today. Fished a couple of hours there then the ski boats and water lice started hitting the water. It was getting hot any way. I know when I'm beat. Took my one keeper out of the livewell, kissed him goodbye and threw him back to fight another day. Boat ran great, weather was perfect, water felt good. Over all, it was a good day.

Better luck next time. At least you got back in the boat without needing a boost.
