nice going, looks like a long and productive day for sure
I made my first spider rigging trip and it went well. Although the keeper rate is terrible now I managed to bring home 10 nice ones and probably caught 1 keeper to 5 or 6 shorts. I fished capps and coleman rigs with minnows down 14 ft deep in 25 to 30 foot of water with minnows and jigs. I fished from daylight till dark and was wore out by the end of the day but it was a nice day to be on the water. I want to thank all of you for your posts on spider rigging because it really helped me get started on the right foot.

im headed to stockton this evening, your report has been very helpful. tyvm.
Stay with it Jim, tons of short fish being caught. I have had good luck pulling bandit 300's: mad cow and cranberry and if your not getting hung up your not catching fish so stay in close to the structure.
Great job!
thnx Xpress that's what i plan to do . I have a couple favorite coves down from mutton creek i love to pull bandits over the brush piles in. i think I might be able to scounge up both those colors so I'll give em a try this evening.
