Didn't get to the lake until late. Launched 8:45 and went up.

Fished clumps and standing timber. Clumps did best. Black/char tipped with minner held still, WHAM!... or nothing, just pull, or dead weight... or they lifted it. They were all over the place. Had to pay attention today. Caught some nice fish, easy limit of nice eaters, two nice whites to boot.

Installed a 12v air pump for the minner bucket, worked like a charm. Not on purpose I wired it so that when the live well pumps turn on, it turns off. Today, being hot, I had the live well on 1 min. on and 1 min. off. That means the minners were getting the same treatment. Everything seems to work out okay, might just leave it that way. Can't imagine any adverse effects. Keeps both pumps from running at the same time.
