Thanks for the report and glad you made it up and back without meeting Mr Wood........
Me and the wife fished most the day with hardly any luck, lots of dinks but that's it. Since fishing was slow we tried our luck at getting back up north by the free ramp, we haven't been up that way since getting the new boat since we always used the free ramp in the old jon boat. We just kinda hung out and waited till I seen someone coming and tagged along until they out ran me then idle through the spots I was unsure about. We made it up without incident but had the same luck not finding good fish. Still was a good day and happy to get back up river, little nerve racking making the first run but I think it should get better as I learn the safer routes.
Thanks for the report and glad you made it up and back without meeting Mr Wood........
its been real up and down in that area for me
Just go pull in within 10' of another boat. Everyone else on that lake seem to think it's okay to do so.
Same results for us too no matter where we tried!! Thankful for ol whiskers !!!!

Yeah I'm sure every run I make up there will make me pucker up and hope for the best. Ill have to start monitoring the water levels a little closer now.
Felt a few bumps last time I was up there which made me feel a little uneasy! Always a gamble guess.
I was only up river one time about six years ago, made it up and back at just over idle speed because no one else was going up there. Did not even get a nibble, Probably why nobody was going that way......
