    fished smithville fri, sat and mon... I would have figured it was gonna be pretty good last nite, 5-13, boy was I wrong. Caught limits both friday and sat in tough conditions and with the nice warm up it should have been really good. Hardly caught any fish compared to those days, very few dinks even! ended with 5 over 12" and a channel. Only caught probably 15-20 dinks. Hardly saw anyone catching, water was up to 70* and good color. It did seem to me that the lake dropped a few inches but that should not affect the fish. No idea what happened

    ya just never know about them there fishes they got them a mind of there own. but hey two days catching,one not, not bad for and average.

    I actually think the lake has come up some....the stump field in Trimble is underwater, and it hasn't been for a long time.

    i had a rough day yesterday only getting 17 for 3 of us. today i found all males on the bank and finished my limit in 2 hrs. not one female tonight. 65 degree water in trimble area.

    Im going to try my luck tomorrow. I took a vacation week all week last week and limit out each day including the days with strong winds, well im back to work and Ive got that itch..hahaha tight lines guys
