    Default Pomme 5/11/13


    Had a fun day on the Lindley arm with Dad and my Nephew. Caught fish anywhere from 12-14' of water and around 9-10' deep on and around brushpiles on spawning flats. Used a 1/8oz Orange jig head and black/chartreuse or blue/chartreuse jigs doing the two pole slow troll.     good report. The smiles on the kids tell the story. Looks like some of the crappie are getting a little larger in Pomme. WTG

    We fished Pomme as well today.....BOY WAS IT WINDY!!! Fished from the bank near Bolivar Landing and had a decent bite most of the evening. Fished minnows with a bobber (3 ft deep) and found fish in the cove out of the wind. Me, my son, and father-in-law caught around 25 keepers total with most in the 10-12" range. Looks like the Mom's Day lunch at our house will be a good ol' fish fry! Good luck and happy fishing!
