Fair Weather Fisherman!
Got out today and tried the banks on the upper Grand. No luck so I switched rods and started dipping. That was the ticket. I had over 5 lbs on 4 fish after the first 4 trees. Seemed every tree in 12'-15' of water held a fish. Dipped for two hours and had around 8 1/4 lbs. 3" Blk/Pink Bronze Star Baits carrots and Blk/Pink Yum 3" F2 tubes. Fished on a Orange 3/16oz double barb Rainy Day Jigs head. As much I like the rigging it was great to feel that thump again.

Nice to hear your report. Jigging 15........... I am going down in the morning to try my luck. Haven't been out for quite awhile. My wife and I are going to try below the dam or up on top just don't know where might be best. Staying in Warsaw Fri. night. Suggestions Welcome.......
Good report. Always nice to feel the thump. Sounds like you got into some dandy fish.
Nice trip just imagine what would of happen with Cat.3 jigs on there lol nothing like catching em on your own stuff! I'll be on the lame all weekend and most of the week so I'm sure I'll bump into you. We need to actually fish together on of these days
In our government-controlled schools we are taught that Lincoln was our greatest president because his war ended slavery and saved the Union. As usual, the other side of the story – the side that reflects poorly on the government – somehow gets lost. – Richard J. Maybury, The Abe Lincoln Hoax

I love that aggressive thump. That is the most powerful addiction in the entire universe. Seriously.

Gotta love the thump Jared, I just can't make myself give it up to spider rig but I'm not very good in tournament either.
Way to go Jared. Glad to hear dippin is turning on.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
That is GREAT news!!
