Way to go beagle. Glad you found some today because it is going to get tough after tomorrow.
and it was a great day, put in at 11 AM and headed towards the bridge, went past the bridge and started to look for likely spots. it was so windy I finally ducked into this cove I had heard about and started to fish the cuts in the cove, every cut had a few fish, some big ole pigs, I left them for hardhunter he like them big ones. I caught probably 50 fish, all in 5 ft. of water, all on a silver/pepper swimming minnow, Darrells favorite jig. I kept 15. 10 to 11 in. fish, tossed back all the 9 and 15 in. fish, what a day, thanks to all who offered advice on a new area for me, never been up that way, it was quite a trip. off the water by 2 pm. not bad for a fat man with a limp.

Looks like the limits I had. More blacks than you get on the Grand.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.

Catch Fish Or Die Old Trying!
See ya did good again. Thanks for the report. See ya at camp
Excellent!...........looks like the warm weather pushed them up closer to where they should be. Nice work...........and very nice looking batch of fish.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
