I have navionics and am still trying to figure it out, this will be my 2nd time using the map like it so far . What part of May are you going down there? I will be down there this weekend for the second trip this year,I fish Twain more then I do here in Iowa. Are you by chance going to the Twain camp out at the end of May? My fishing partner and I will be there, this will be my first group camp.Looking forward to meeting all the cdc members. Jim

I use lakemaster but have only used it a few times. Wish weather and water would warm a little. All this rain is getting ridiculous.

If you have a iPhone or iPad there are some good navionics apps in the App Store. I bought the 10 dollar one and love it for searching around at home. It has on the lake features to but I just use my graphs sd card chips on the water.

For what it's worth, for the foreseeable future, I'd be more concerned with watching what is in front of ya while on Twain versus trying to stay in the channels (which are relatively clearly defined). Right now the lake it 22 ft. above normal pool and won't be dropping for quite some time due to the Mississippi River levels.....should make for some awesome fishing and you might be timing it just right assuming the weather settles.

Probably not helping much, but just a heads up.

Thank Route U. When I fish a lake I never fish before I start by following the creek or river channel most of the time that were the fish is.

that is a very good plan at twain!!! I haven't bought any map chips yet, I just know as soon as I drop the cash on one, another brand will come out with a better one. I have used paper maps this far and I caught fish so whats another year or 2?
