Any of you guys the regularly fish truman, particularly the sterret creek area, have any idea what the crappie will be doing this weekend, taking the weather forecast into account? I'm planning on heading up there this weekend just wondering of it will be worth trip. Thanks in Advance!
We fished below the dam in the slackwater area Monday/Tuesday. There were a lot of folks down there on the docks and in boats. We caught five limits of crappie and had some action on whites/hybrids. The action was never super faced paced but steady. We caught them in 19-21 FOW on jigs down 10-12ft. Talking to the other boats there were several people who had not had much luck around Sterett but I can't give a personal account.
