    Default 3.75" swimbaits

Went out today for awhile with my boy, we fished around the house here in buck. Found alot of males shallow doing there thing my boy was throwing minnow under a cork and doing well. I decided to try a big bait so I used a 3.75" swimbait i make and sure enough the crappie were hammering it i caught some 9" fish on that bait it was pretty wild!Name: image.jpg

That boy looks like he's growing like a weed! Earlier pictures he looked a lot smaller! Good job on the fish!

Goes to show how big a bait they will eat. Looks like he is having a blast.

Way to go slabscab. Looks like the boy was having a blast
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Great looking bait! I know a great looking bait when I see one lol

Great report. I will have to agree that your son has grown a lot since the last pic I saw of him dock shooting. Lures look good too.
