Default rainbow trout colored crappie baits whats your thoughts

I know we kill the speckle trout and red fish back home on rainbow trout colored baits and Cali folks catch those hog bass on rainbow swim baits so I'm thinking a crappie might just eat them to. So I figured I would try my hand at making some . My question is more for the "clear""water fisherman like loz,the rock and Stockton do y'all have better luck on more minnow/fish looking baits or are the normal color non natural looking baits just as good? I'm a Truman mud fisherman so I think the ultra real details get lost in the murk. I hope to try these in some swimming pool clear lakes this year. Thought and advice it much welcome

In our government-controlled schools we are taught that Lincoln was our greatest president because his war ended slavery and saved the Union. As usual, the other side of the story – the side that reflects poorly on the government – somehow gets lost. – Richard J. Maybury, The Abe Lincoln Hoax

Those truly are some pretty baits. You make some of the most realistic baits I've seen. Them clear water crappie will get all over those.

Thanks for the compliments, I would love to try them on those Mississippi slabs! I grew up fishing around Natchez miss.

Well the next month or so should be really good and with the arsenal of baits you build there is something that will load the boat come on.
