Smithville in the am

I will be hitting smithville in the morning. This will be my first time on the lake since december. Got a SSE wind at 5 mph forcasted for the morning. Wish me luck. If im good hopefully i will be posting pics tomorrow

2 people 3 hours and 2 fish. We threw every color of jig at them and came up empty handed. They were all over the shad just not interested in the jigs

I can second that report. Saw shad busting the surface all the while I was out and only caught one dink in three hous.

It was awful cold out there. I like to go in the morning so I have the rest of the day with my son. I was out there from about 7-10
