I need 2 new trolling batteries. I have interstate that I have had for 7 years. Just looking for what you guys are having good luck with and if you got any good prices.

    Default New battery

I got two at Costco in January they were about $83 each. The last one I got from Costco is going on 5 years. They have s good return policy but are a long ways from the lake!

Think if I got 7 years out of them I'd go right back and get 2 more.

I was leaning going back to them but things change in 7 years. I don't want to go back to them if there standards had changed. The batteries came with the boat when I bought it. Anyone else using interstate?

I bought 3 interstates three years ago, 2 for trolling, 1 for motor. One of the trolling went bad last spring which was 2 years, bought 2 AGM sears batteries with 3 year free replace for the trolling bats, so far so good (very expensive). The interstate motor battery is three years old now and acting a little sluggish, on the list to replace.
The way I understand they are made for only so many charge and discharge cycles, I use mine a lot, maybe two much, don't tell my wife though

This just my opinion, as bad as I hate to shop there the Walmart battery is your best buy all things considered. Their batteries are pretty good, they have good warranty and you can't go anywhere there isn't a store to cover you if needed. And most batteries are made by the same company today anyway.

Use my boat about four days a week from march to September and have an on board charger. Gets plugged in everytime I get home.

Beag's I just don't like to spend my hard ended money at China Mart, Sam would roll over in his grave if he knew what was going on in Walmart (Made In The USA the original slogan remember) and yes you can find things made in the USA just gotta look, might be a little higher but I don't care! Peace Man!
