Depends on where you want to fish. Bucksaw, Sterett Creek are pretty nice plus they have hotel/resort at the marinas. If you are bringing a camper I would go to Long Shoals. I like Bucksaw because that's the area of the lake I fish. Plus the Richard and the crew there are friendly and great. Heard that about Sterett Creek too. But have never stayed there. Also, you can try Osage Marina.

Are you wanting something just for the weekend or all year? All are good but theft can be a problem at all of them. I dont see what the advantage would be in leaving your boat on the water and having to strip the boat and haul all your gear home. If you are just wanting to leave it near the lake so you dont have to drag it home all the time I would check in on a enclosed storage unit. There are several new ones between Tightwad and Rackett on Hwy 7.

I should start a security company for boat docks. We have an issue with theft on Table Rock too. Too bad the State won't let you shoot these individuals.

Back in july, 2004 there was a big bass tourney out at Bucksaw. Over 25 boats got hit in two days. I was one of them. All they took were peoples rods didn't care to much about tackle. Bastards took 22 rods off my boat.
