Anyone have any thoughts on Vicious fishing line? Going to give it a try and don't know if I want to use the pan fish or the ultimate.

i have not used it personally, i use 10 lb power pro hi vis braid for jigging... 6lb mr crappie when casting, which i only cast bout 5 time's every 10 year's some of my buddy's that have used the vicious line have told me the knot strength was not good at all... dont know how much merit that hold's as my buddy's are a bunch of goober's

Been using the 10 lb pan fish in yellow along with the braid in 10 and 15 lb test. Can't say as I've ever broke off a fish, and I fish Truman in the cedars and hardwoods. Know a lot of people using it also. I think it's the best value for the price.

I liked it but would buy the next size up from what you regularly use. I felt like the strength was a little weak. I compared the 6 lb to Mr. Crappie 6lb and the Vicious felt like 4 lb Mr. Crappie.

I'm with Pole Bender go one size up, other than that I think it may be one of the brighter hi viz lines.

I would stick with either 6lb. or 10lb. I've had alot of memory problems with the 8lb.

Used all types of lines and the best for me is 15 lb power pro braid, green. The high vis for sum reason is not as limp. The best mono I used was original stren but I love power pro

Been using the pan fish in 8lbs for years and love it.I use the hi-vis braid on my jigging poles in 10-2 and really like it. If you like it you better buy all ya can find i heard they went out of business or something so i bought a good supply.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
