    Default LOZ 10mm 1-12

Hi everyone, I'm new to fishing LOZ, this is my third time out, I've been fishing Mark Twain & Truman (AKA WOOD)till now, anyway put in @ Shawnee Bend at 9:00 and fished until 2:00.

I caught 7 keepers 10 to 12" and twice as many shorts, under condo docks out of the wind in 25 to 35 fow - 12 to 15 feet deep, I was casting a Blk. & Char. mr. twister type jig and then moving in with minnows after bite.

I forgot to take pics so maybe next time, lol.

Good luck and I hope to see you guys and gals out there fishing.

Thanks for the welcome, Charlie. My jigging skills are underdeveloped to say the less, lol, just trying to find fish for now, work on jigs later.

Thanks for the tips, you are already helping, lol.

Are you vertical jigging those over structure or casting and slow retrieve?

seems this time of the year they like it held still for the most part,if what you are doing ,try something else till you find what works.most of our fish has came just off the bottom, not always on brush ,sometimes along a ledge.Good luck to ya.
