    Default Crappie Masters Classic

Congrats to Charlie and Travis Bunting. 2012 National Champions!!!! Fishing was tough. High currents, muddy water, severe cold front. What more could you ask for? There were some good finishes by other MO CDC members. Snider and Albin were 15th, Vallentine and Pitts were 17th, Maghee and Brooks were 21st. Hope we can get more MO guys to go next year to Grenada Lake. Think you would be surprised how well you might do.

Good job to you all. I hope to make the classic next year. Would love to rig down there for some monster crappie. It would be worth the trip to catch some big fish like they have down there even of not doing well in the tournament. Now to get qualified with some one else that plans on making the trip for the classic.

Mostly spider rigging. Snider and Albin did not. I would guess on 70% were rigging. We were going to one pole out on the main river but we couldnt put anything together that way. I was told that 7 of the top 10 were rigging. Dant and Zufall one poled on the main river and made a huge comeback on day 2. Think they weighed in five pounds on day one then 8.70 on day 2.

Looks like Snider/Albin and Dant/Zufall figured out the one pole bite on the second day. I seen the results and both of them had a huge second day. Rigging is a great way to catch fish during tough conditions like you all had down there.
