Pomme 8/25

Fished the Pomme arm between Bolivar Landing and the dam. Most of the summer we have been catching a lot of 9" fish with a few 10 plus, but Saturday was just the opposite. Most of our fish were 10 to 11 1/2", with a few 9" fish. We only brought home 14 fish, but they were nice ones. I hope this is a sign that the better fish are starting to show up. All of our fish were caught on jigs in a variety of colors. The fish were in the timber at various depths. I plan on going back next Saturday.

I love bolivar landing. This spring we had several days of landing hogs all day long like that. Glad to hear you had a good day.
