Hope that you feel better.
The boy has talked me into pulling the boat up. I will try to post a report when I get back.
Can't wait to get up there!
why do today what you can put off til tomorrow, go fishing instead!!!
Made it up today, only got to spend about 2 and a half hours on the lake. Caught 16 between the son and I.
Giving him some credit ...... he one put one in the boat. Couldn't hardly keep the boy from texting is girlfriend.
Most were East of the dam 30 fow, 18 to 20 ft down. White and red and white seemed to worked best. Caught a few just off the bottom in 20 the 24 fow.
Got too far East, and we couldn't keep the small green carp off our lines for a while.
Started trying the shallow bite early, but didn't get even a nibble.
Ran up the lake to the 240th St brush piles and picked off a couple, and a few nice gills.
FYI the bait store there on Liberty Road leading to the lake is not open except for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
It was a good day spent with the youngest son. Luckily he doesn't have a lot to move. That only took a couple of trips, and we got that done before the real afternoon heat set it.
