well, how did the fishing for the tourney go? We fished Saturday morning, caught a 15, 14, 13 and a couple of 12 inchers plus some 11 inchers. Just fishing for fun and lunch. Not a lot of fish but more than enough for supper.

sounds like a good day bruce, i fished sat. morning also and didn,t do nearly so well. i did finally catch 3, 11 inchers but the rest were all under 9. i wasn,t in the tourney but it looked like a good turn out.

We didn't fish the tourney either....apparently we just missed ya at South Fork Resort. We swung in (baby brother wanted to sleep in) to get ice, talked with Odie, and saw your pictures.... very nice fish.
Talked to Catman and thought we were going to run up into the Middle.....changed our mind en route back from South Fork and splashed at U and ran up.
Caught fish all day and I would have been very happy going to the weigh-in with our 10 best, but had a lot more fun catchin than worrying! No 15 incher, but everything under it. Straight jig.......not much of a thump, more of a resistance. They'd catch it on the drop and if you weren't watching your line, they'd spit it quick.
All in all, plenty of fish for the dad of a good friend of mine who passed away earlier this year.......which was why we were keeping and cleaning.
