Mother nature that is. Man she was full of hot air today.

Fished up from BS, right off the bat, on the first clump, we caught a white that was impressive, a 13.5" and a 14.5" crappie. Then reality set in, we worked for the rest. We'd set a standard this day to keep only fish who's entire tail fin was beyond the 9" mark. That limited us to 15 crappie, one large mouth, and one white bass. Caught a few dozen that didn't even get measured.

We just finished with some hedge in Pretty Bob and pulled a couple of "our" keepers off a trio of hard wood stumps you could barely see under the water's surface. Then these youngins come running and gunning in a fancy Z9 and no sooner than we're pulled off that trio and about 15 yds away they are still going way to fast for that area and run smack dab up on those stumps. That boat came dang near plum out of the water as it rode over those stumps. IDIOTS!

Muddy Water jig issue. Anyone else that is using these been having a problem with them coming apart where the colors join? Had several do this today on the red/char and light blue/char. The char tail just pops off. I dig the jigs, but if you're going to lose a quantity of jigs from defects I might have to pass on further purchases.

Those Muddy Water jigs are about the only jigs i use. Travis Bunting makes them and in my opinion they are some of the toughest jigs out there. Maybe you just got a bad batch or something...

Had more of the light blue/char come apart today. I dig the jigs, and based on you guy's word, will try them again.
