Need Directions

If you are coming from the Ozark/Springfield area - what is the quickest way to get to the Fairfield Landing on the pomme arm of Trumann Lake. Also, what is the drive time from Springfield. I have never fished that part of Trumann - if any one can point me in the right direction to get into a productive area - that will certainly be appreciated - I am not asking for anyone's honey holes.

i would go north on 65 to warsaw and go south on 83 to it . or 13 to bolivar then 83 north to it fast is 65 i thank any way great fishing .

At the corner of 7 hwy and 65 across from the gas station is a county road that takes you over to 83 hwy. Turn left to go to Fairfield. Turn right to go to Osage Bluff. I think it is called Balke Rd. You can get minnows at the station or at Fairfield.

If you go up 13 to Collins take 54 to wheatland turn left on B highway take it to K highway then on K takes you right to fairfield. Fish are 12 foot deep on the flats head towards avery bottoms .Stay in channel real stumpy down that way .Good luck

This is a neat map of truman lake. Click on this and wait for it to load. Then X out of the first pop up. Then sroll up closer. Then click on the hand in the upper left corner. This map bring it all in closer. Can see the trees
